Pontal
Situated in the hillside west of the mountain range of the mantiqueira, Caconde has a relief characterized for many valleys and mountains. Through an exuberant vegetation you will reach the top of the Pedra do Pontal, one of the highest points of the region.
 
Usina Velha (Old water power station) The track of the old power station will bring you in touch with the history of the region.  Walking through the dry river stream bed where during hundreds of years the Pardo River  sculptured in the rude rock, you can fell  the creative force of the nature under your feet.
