The construction of Caconde water power station by CESP originated an artificial lake that goes beyond the municipal borders at the headwaters of Pardo River.

The Pardo River is the great wealth of Caconde. The river rapids offer the ideal conditions for Rafting.
 
Cachoiera Santa Quitéria Santa Quitéria  Waterfall
Various waterfalls result from the many water springs of the region and the local topography. Some of them, like Santa Quitéria Waterfall, are visited only by the more adventurous ones for the practice of Cascading.
